When Once The Albatross Returns

Slowly he realized he'll have to part
And leave the valleys that he knew so well
To ponder what might come hit him so hard
And something grew inside of him just like a spell
A wish, some kind of dream come true
A message that he wants to leave for you:
I hope that flame inside still burns
When once the albatross returns

He didn't know if he could really do the flight
The mountains that he saw, they seemed so high
The clouds above would hide the guiding light
And loneliness was all he felt up in the sky
Haunting ideas inside began to grow
A burning wish that he wants you to know:
I hope that flame inside still burns
When once the albatross returns

Some memories came swaying to and fro
Of  northern lights and jetstreams in the air
And melodies the winds once let him know
A call grew louder to nobody would know where
He feels this notion growing stronger
He cannot keep it in for any longer:
I wish that flame inside still burns
When once the albatross returns
