I'm takin' a break from shakin' the cage
‘cause the shakin' is achin' – maybe it's my age
I'm gonna rest my soul and I just let it roll
It's the best of goals but it's takin' its toll

In a place where his grace amazes the wretch
That the pace of the race leaves a breath you can catch
I'm gonna pay the toll and I just let it roll
On my way to my goal but it's takin' my soul

Now I shake off the ache of this takin' my soul
I'm gonna take a break of just letting it roll
I'm messed up with jazz and guess what's the best
I'm blessed with the rest…
