Things to do in Greece (when fair weather doesn't happen)
(© Ko-Do 2006)

When the seagulls
Hide away from the stormy weather
When Uncle Leo
Writes a letter to dear Heather
When you and me are all alone
With our souls stripped down to the bone
And fair weather doesn't happen

We could brush up our dreams
Chase them through the winds and rain…
We could weave new beams
For the sun to ease the pain…
We could melt our past
Into some future candles
And some shells we'd cast
Away like our old sandals
We'd walk on barefoot
Just to set our minds at ease
Yes, there's a lotta things to do in Greece
When fair weather doesn't happen

When the dolphins
Hide from waves breaking at the shore
When the allegory
Of the cave is aching more and more
When you and me are all alone
With our hearts stripped down to the bone
And fair weather doesn't happen

We could recall our deja-vus
The ones we'd never seen till now
We'd play Rembetiko and blues
Create a brand new style somehow
We could sacrifice our secrets
To the truth in some old temple
We could write our thoughts on leaflets
And folks could use them as example
We'd walk on boundless
Just to set our minds at ease
Yes, there's a lotta things to do in Greece
When fair weather doesn't happen
