Golden (C)Age
(© by Ko-Do 2012)
We were born in that golden age
Of freedom where you don't see the cage
In which you're running 'round
All around it was all the rage
To find a proper Indian sage
To tell us where we're bound
Frolicking like the puppies do
Our time had come before we knew
To make use of inner senses
We scratched the surface through and through
And thought that we had found a clue
To learn what innocence is
And we made love instead of war
But we could never find the door
To leave our paradise
Just like it used to be before
We couldn't hear the silence roar
And take its sound advice
Time after time our eyes grew blind
That made us wise and we could find
The bars of our age
And when we finally changed our mind
We freely left it all behind
What was the golden cage
