Inside the dream-warrior's hall

I was strolling through the bushes in the green
On the traces of some echoes from the past
Somewhere around here was the last time that I've seen
One of those places - through eternity to last
Oh, how I longed to find it there once more
And someone must have heard my silent call
I closed my eyes - and there it was, that hidden door
So I went through - inside the dream warrior's hall

And there they gathered round a big old cedar-tree
And each and everyone was beating on his drum
Then one of them, he turned and looked at me
And he said "Well, it's high time for you to come"
And then he carved some signs into the cedar's bark
"Now learn to read, these are the words you have to call
When you may find yourself lost somewhere in the dark.
They'll bring you here - inside the dream warrior's hall"

Within an instant all the hall was looking bright
The drums grew louder, every face showed me a smile
"You gotta know: not every warrior has to fight,
But dreamin', too, can make you tired - just rest a while"
"Ain't got no drum, can't read the signs" I did reply
"But you are here - those signs and drums don't count at all.
They're only symbols for the many that deny
The truth that leads inside the dream warrior's hall"

Then the whole scene started transforming just like magic
And all the drummers turned to people that I knew
Only the one who talked to me - it was so tragic
He stayed the same, and so I knew, that it was you
Then I woke up between the bushes in the green
And all the cedar-trees around me looked so tall
And then I knew, that all the love that I have seen
Was just a dream - inside the dream warrior's hall
