What you do with those cables and wires
All them plugs and the firewires
To prevent it from the worst case of all
They invented those firewalls
That's what networking is all about

You can't use a hub as a bridge
What you really need is a switch
Can't use a router as server, oh no
That computer thing's killin' my nerves, don't you know
That's what networking is all about
 
And if that wasn't enough
There's lots of wireless stuff
Like infrared, bluetooth and laser, you know
And you'll never get out of that maze, oh no
That's what networking is all about

Finally the system is running
All very mystic and stunning
Now you can use it, you feel like a hero
Something's blowin' the fuses – back to zero
