I can't count the hours
When we dreamed away our pipes
Listenin' to flower power
The Dead, the Doors and the likes
Feelin' pretty happy
That at least we had our share
Of a wonder
That was no longer there

That came close to '69
And it's oh what a bummer
That we can't turn back time
Still feeling pretty happy
